I have been privileged to practice law in the Utica area for the past forty (40) years. Over time my practice has greatly expanded and although my practice emphasizes the representation of injured workers' my practice also includes personal injury litigation, matrimonial actions and negotiations, Social Security representation and the representation of small business owners.
The practice of law, like the practice of medicine, can be very confusing to clients. Most attorneys (and doctors) are capable of obtaining good results for their clients/patients. The key distinction between lawyers is, however, in how they treat their clients and how they explain to them their rights and options. Just as patients have an absolute right to understand what treatment and/or procedures they will undergo and so to do clients have an absolute right to have his/her attorney explain to them in understandable terms what their case involves and what they should expect. This is a distinguishing factor between attorneys and I sincerely believe that this is one of the strengths of my practice.
I believe in taking the time necessary to fully familiarize my clients with their case and the course it will take. It is important to me that my clients feel comfortable in my representation and that they are fully familiar with the legal process.
